A Running Amnesia

What could I say,

  To relay...

That I do not need your perfection,

For I know that is merely illusionary?

I do not want a guilt or shame, to cloud your heart,

For as you heal,

  So do I;

I love you too much for that.

I forgive you your masks, and pretense...

Will you forgive me mine,

  Sins also and all?

If you need your space, I embrace what you need.

If you need my voice and solace,

My heart is at your feet.

If you need to love another,

  Or choose away from me...

I will abide you.

I will find you...

If not in the home of my heart,

Then in another life or dream.

I will abide you.

As I love you.

...but what I beseech,

Is that your rest your heavy heart,

 and wearied soul...

I pray you are not angry with me.

Rest away from the sooted mirror

 and on yourself go easily.

Find the light you live for

and A love I hope that fills your soul...

Know how brilliant a frequency you are,

and let the past shadows go.

Learn about what you desire,

and fiercely, without cowardice take that approach!

Go after the life you yearn for,

and I pray it fulfills your hopes.

I want nothing more,

  For your happiness,

As the thought brightens my soul...

Know how much I love you Dear...

And it is in the tales I've told.

Release it all at last,

  Release your relentless hold.

He is waiting to be loved;

and you have been imprisoning him,

In a narrative you sold your soul.

I always wanted to be a mirror;

A place where we could become whole...

But perhaps I was wrong, about our Love,

 And if this is so...

I am happy

to let you go, friend of my Life...

  Keeper of my Soul...

Long Lost Love I am so fond of...

I hope you find your home.

I hope a love beckons you forth,

That makes worthy your journeyed road...

Carry no weight, keep no shadow

That does not lighten your load

Pray to our God, the demons be gone,

and watch the seeds you sow

Water them diligently,

  With intention and prayer

Shedding your skins of old

and if God even loves you, an ounce as much I do

You will get what you are owed.

Have faith my Seed, My Growing Tree,

Have faith in your own Sun...

And I promise you, friend to a friend,

You will be worthy of what you love.
