The Odyssey: Through Purgatory

A screaming whaling echo

Howling torrentially over hurricane currents

A haunt so old and foul,

  In the stomach, a buckling.

Death screeching, at ankles pulling

  Going

Underneath.

  An Ocean Haunted.

A place you never want to be

  Of limbo

& Purgatory.

  Hands chained behind back

And plunging is pulled

  By the watery storm

On the other side

  Of the break.

A shattering liquid mirror

  Offering death.

  A sinking

Being starved of breath.

  A stomach

That fills up with water.

Salt

  The last thing

        Choked on and consumed.

A Demon Land. A Hall of darkness,

Underwaters and hollow earth caverns

A place to wade through.

  A place you pray through,

Covering yourself like a shrine

  In the Cloak of God.

  And kissing the land again...

When we get to return.

Journeyed through a Land of Monsters

Heart now forever burns.
