The Lovers at His Feet

 

I'm ignoring the writing on the wall, 

  Because I simply can't allow it to be. 

I will find a way through this-

  Just lend your trust to me. 

And when I saw The Devil Card

  It clumsily dawned upon me. 

The Devil has two chained. 

  The Lovers, at his feet. 

Apropos is not the word. 

  "Auspicious" and "Sinister" in deed. 

I will not let the Devil do this 

  It simply can not be

and he is the Devil, The Capricorn & Goat

and you my half of two, well...

  The rest you know. 

And will you let the Devil do this? 

  Will you allow the defeat? 

If that is so, then I un-anchor my own 

  Because I am destined to be Free.
