Her Means of Art

They will say of her

   that she stretched herself across time

        to reach you.

That she stole the blush of the sunset

  and painted her eyes rose

   that she might abide the distance

      Of your love.

They might even remise

  That her love was one

Tragic and True.

   Unjustly loyal

Jaded in naively starry eyes.

She had told,

  that is was the touch of his kiss

   In the midnight black and blues-

     The whispers of her tickled skin

        without even being next to you.

She layed in wait.  Reminisced in old cages;

  She stuffed herself away instead of

      abandoning you.

But it was the night sky...

  The rain. The changing of Summer for Autumn,

     that haunted her melancholic hue.

She dresses up, and waited...

   Heels in the cold

No sign ever, of her Love showed.

She went on to love...

  But what is love

     split in two?

The moon will ever remind her.

  The stars, under your sky,

      Are the stars still glistening in her

   Smile, her Eyes.

The deep dark blue,

  Like the ocean at night...

It is the space she ventures to reach you.

A ring was put upon her finger;

  and a short lived love became her venture.

As long as she had remained by his side...

     When it went array,

   It was your name she cried.

Her love had fallen,

  To villains and those lost.

That was the determination of her;

That was the cost.

Now she is a shell. Of Yes's.

  Bowing to the Bend

    At which she is pushed.

She has not now, too many choices,

  Howling storms threaten her livelihood.

What should

  A woman in wait do,

 For too long she has waited on you?

A destiny steamrolled.

  A life too deeply blue.

The fate of two bound by one...

  Was the cost she pained

       in loving you-

The toll that took

   half her soul.

The foreclosure on the property of heart.

The way she loved you wasn't just a life form;

The way she loves you

     is an Art.
