The Devouring

If I beg you cretin of creatures

  Would you eat me?

Would you devour and ravage my flesh and bones?

Would you scrape every inch of me up,

and inhale me, breath and all?

If I beg you,

Can I surrender? Can I bleed through your fingers, body in hand?

Can I sink into your pores,

My last heart beat at your command?

If I beg? Will you ferociously take me away from this life,

   And eat me?

Will you relish my flesh and enjoy the delicacy?

Will you sliver it away, and suck on my bones?

Will you claw out my heart,

Only to encase it in Gold?

Will you remember the life I gave you,

As you devour the sanctity of

       sacrifice in whole

Will you sickly LOVE me,

As I give you up, my soul?
