At the Second Sacrifice, 

   Would you still wield the blade? 

In case you can not see it, 

   and incase you ever do...

Know that I have placed 

my life, my faith, 

   and my trust 

back in your haunting hands. 

Know that for the second time around, 

  I have publicly given you 

     a chance to destroy me 

            Again...

All 

And simply

For loving you. 

I still wonder...

  

    Will you 

                    &     Would you

As you once had, 

   all for the act 

            of seeing you... 

     

    and loving you despite your 

  

             Shadows cast? 

Would you take 

     My secrets 

            to harm me? 

Or will you bury them, 

    Will you keep them as ours? 

Or will you callously once more, 

  Destroy and make a clown out of me? 

Do you think I can take it? 

  All the injury. Dealt out. Swift blows? 

Would you use it to burn my life down, 

   or keep me close? 

Will you harbor and honor, 

  What is only yours and mine? 

and not theirs at all? 

Will you take me to the stake, 

   For this? 

For realizing I never want to let you go? 

Or will you help me bring it to the light? 

  When the time is right, 

And until then, 

  Guard our secret with your soul? 

Would they even understand, 

  I don't really know...

But perhaps you do. 

  and if your love was ever true...

Would you protect it, this time

    Around? 

Because in case you hadn't noticed, 

  I've given you 

 

All the ammo you need 

  To take me down? 

I sacrificed myself once again, 

To show you my love was true? 

By letting you know now 

What I have no permission to.
